GCSE Astronomy Last Updated On 04 July 2008
The GCSE Astronomy course is composed of eight lessons, which each student receives by post. The lessons can be sent monthly or at other intervals chosen by the student. Each lesson refers to a particular section of the syllabus, contains notes to support the textbook and an assignment, which the student completes and returns to the tutor. Each assignment sent in will be assessed and discussed by personal correspondence from the tutor. The assignments are excellent practice questions for the final exam. Specimen exam questions will be sent to you during the course. Two Mock Exam papers will be sent to you when you have completed the course assignments. The GCSE course can be taken in one academic year, enrolling in September, receiving the lessons monthly, and taking the exam the following June. However, students can enrol on the course at any time of the year and work at their own pace, spreading the course over a longer period, if preferred, without incurring any additional enrolment costs. You don't have to take the exam at the end of the course, if you choose not to. You can still do the course, just for the fun of learning. Our GCSE course has always enjoyed a very high pass rate. Our exam candidates always do well. |
